Book Review Log Planner Insert

This Book Review Log planner insert brings a visual, creative twist to tracking your reading. You’ll receive two double-sided planner sheets, each with the same hand-drawn bookcase illustration. The book spines are left blank so you can personalise them with book titles as you read.

Some books in the design stand tall, others lie sideways, and a few are toppling — just like any real bookshelf. As you read, fill in the titles and colour in the spines to create your own colourful library. It’s a fun way to record your reading history without needing detailed reviews or pages of notes.

Although it’s a traditional bookcase layout, you can log any kind of reading — including audiobooks or graphic novels. At the bottom of each sheet, there are five stars for every book. These can be used as a rating system or colour-coded to reflect genres, formats, or moods. The layout is flexible so you can track what matters most to you.

Like all my planner sheets, this insert is printed on 120gsm smooth white paper. It’s fountain pen friendly and has been tested with a range of pens and markers — including gel ink, brush pens, and fine liners — with no ghosting or feathering at all.

This insert fits most common planner systems, including Filofax inserts, Happy Planner rings, and Carpe Diem formats. It pairs beautifully with my bookmarks to keep your place, and book stickers for adding fun extras to your reading log or planner.
