Refund and Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your order from The Little Stationery Shop. If something isn’t right, please get in touch and we’ll always do our best to help. This policy explains how refunds and exchanges work.

Returns window

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. If more than 14 days have passed, we may not be able to offer a refund or exchange, but please still contact us – we will always try to help where we reasonably can.

Eligibility for returns

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • unused and in the same condition you received them, and
  • returned in their original packaging (such as biodegradable cellophane bags or protective sleeves), or packaging of a similar protective standard.

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • gift cards,
  • downloadable digital products,
  • custom or personalised items (e.g., where a name or other unique detail has been added).

How to request a return or exchange

  1. Contact us by email at flic@thelittlestationeryshop.co.uk or via our contact form, with your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
  2. Once approved, we will send you a returns label to the email address used on your order.
  3. When you post the parcel, please obtain proof of postage. This is available free at most Royal Mail counters.
  4. When we receive your return, we will inspect the item(s) to check they are unused and in resaleable condition.
  5. If approved, your refund will be processed within 1–3 business days. Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card provider.
  6. If you requested an exchange, we will dispatch the replacement item within 1–3 business days and email you a dispatch confirmation.

Important notes

  • Items that are returned used, damaged (not due to our error), or missing parts may not qualify for a refund or exchange.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method only.
  • If items are returned after the 14-day window, they will not normally be refunded unless proof of postage shows they were sent within the time limit.

Late or missing refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  • First, check your bank account again after a few working days,
  • Contact your bank or card provider, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted,
  • If you have done both of the above and still not received your refund, please email flic@thelittlestationeryshop.co.uk.

Sale items

Only full-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded unless they are faulty.

Exchanges

We are happy to replace items if they arrive damaged or defective. Items that appear used will not be eligible for an exchange.

If you ordered planner pages (also known as planner sheets or inserts) in the wrong size, these may be exchanged within the 14-day window, as long as they have not been written on or marked in any way. Please follow the standard return steps above.
